“Development and implementation of integrated automation technologies for the pharmaceutical industry" proposes the incubation of a new technology-based company "EMSI FARMA", in the Havana Scientific and Technological Park (3CE).
The project is focused on the development and application of an innovative automation service, with a high scientific-technical value, which will allow obtaining technological sovereignty in different, areas of ICT, promoting as a fundamental axis the automation of processes in the Cuban pharmaceutical industry.
The project will specifically be aimed at the pharmaceutical production centers belonging to BioCubaFarma. It will cover the automation of industrial processes in different areas, namely: freeze-drying, sterilization, pharmaceutical water production, supervision of classified areas, formulation, biological fermentation, packaging, laboratory equipment, among others. It will include the validation of computerized systems in the sector, the management of batch reports and the application of artificial intelligence in the diagnosis of faults in equipment and technological systems.
